28th Feb 2018

Hi everyone!!
We are both well and have been busy with work.  It's been pretty manic with Chinese New year but thankfully that's over and we can start to get back to normal.   The weather's been lovely and diving has slowly been improving day by day.  The average water temperature at the moment is 29 degrees and visibility is around 10-20 meters :-D

I've not been out on the bike much and we haven't been swimming but we've diving most days, teaching, coral transplanting, taking DMC's out for ECO dive and clean up dives, so we're getting some exercise.

Clean up Dive 172 kg collected
Structures we've made for Junkyard
One of our coral transplant

Last weekend as treat we went to Samui to get away from it all.  We went to the cinema, go karting, did little grocery shopping and met up with one of our old students who was on Samui for a couple of days.  It was a very refreshing.  We returned to Koh Tao on Sunday afternoon where we went straight back into office mode but now we're in Cambodia for 4 days as Simon has a filming job with Warner Bros down on the coast somewhere, I forget the name of it and I'm in Phnom Phen staying in the city all by myself.   We were going to have to do a visa run somewhere in the next couple of weeks, so as Simon is working with travel expenses being paid, it made sense for me to go too but just in different directions. Simons going to meet up with me in a couple of days.
I arrived at the Airbnb this afternoon ..I had some trouble with the directions (they were incorrect on the internet) but finally got there in the end.  It's nice an clean ...a little noisy but very convenient and its a bargain.

Tomorrow I've booked a 1/2 day cycling tour around Phnom Phen so very much looking forward to that.  I just hope I can find the office.  I've got to be there at 7.30 am  :-D

Just to refresh Jen's memory, Simon has travelled further South to Koh Seh which looks like a small island covered in jungle and not much else............ xx
