It's been a pretty manic time as Simon has taken over the Crystal bar. He's been working non stop, rewiring everything and I mean everything as it was a mess and to wait on Thai's to come in, you don't know what sort of a job you would end up with. In the bar now are, weather proof speakers with all their own adjustable volume. The sound is just amazing, There are flat screen tv's, that can show different channels or all the same ...great for the open water movies. All the stools have been modernized, furniture varnished and he's even made small table blackboards & large hanging ones to advertise drinks, promotions and screenings.
There has been so many changes,not all visible it's just great. Gone are the plastic straws, water is now being sold in glass water bottles, we're having a go at making shakes ..it's quite fun.
Its been really hard work for Simon, working over 100 hours a week and when you think things are settling down and when he can home at a decent hour, the European Cup starts ..so games from 8pm to 4am in the morning ...JOY!!

Good to see that it has all come together and working. I can still see a few hanging cables though but that's what it means to be foreign I suppose. As for the Euros, sma ehere with the yawns and of course it plays mayhem with the Corrie and Eastenders timetable........... xx

Cables hanging are cos I have reached my "budget" for improvements this month. Done the best I could with the minimal spend... Hopefully next month I can get some more furniture and at least a fuse box for the mains!!!
