I think I've just seen an amazing example how people can get together for a cause that matters and work as a team. Clearly this was abit of a feat, but when there's something like this net that requires immediate removal, people volunteered, which shows they care about the underwater environment and it's diversity. Congrats to all involved. A job, well done. By the way Si, nicely edited vid and I'm glad the man-flu has gone! At least Jen looked after you!

Blimey how big was that net, not much chance of escaping from that. So sad people don't seem to care.
WELL DONE to all of you for getting rid

Oh and by the way, I presume they were SMB's you used to raise some parts of the net to the surface?
The "balloons" you see on the video are called lift bags, designed specifically for underwater lifting.
When you come and do your advanced course we can do some search & recovery..!!
I WISH!!
